Alliance Francaise De Washington

The DC branch of the Alliance Francaise, a worldwide network of French cultural centers, brings a little of the old country to the district. Paid membership is required, but Alliance members get to partake in exclusive events centered around the best France has to offer, including films, theater, happy hours and parties. (Their wine and cheese soirées are very popular.) Members also get a discount at other cultural events held around the city, as well as access to the center's library and workshops (which often feature renowned French singers, actors and lecturers).
