2011 Fashion's Night Out Georgetown media soiree at Cusp by Neiman Marcus
The Georgetown Business Improvement District hosted the 2011 global Fashion's Night Out Media Soiree last night at Cusp by Neiman Marcus. The media soiree event introduced the host committee in charge of the upcoming main event on September 8. Among the host committee members are members of the media, event planning realm, and online blogs. Committee members include Kelly Collis of CityShopGirl and 94.7 Fresh FM, Kate Michael of KStreetKate.net, Paul Wharton of Paul Wharton Style, Lynda Erkiletian from T.H.E. Artist Agency, WUSA-9 TV personality Angie Goff, and Samy K from Hot 99.5 to name a few!
Fashion's Night Out is a global initiative created in 2009 in a partnership between American Vogue, the Council of Fashion Designers of America, NYC & Company, and the City of New York to celebrate fashion, restore consumer confidence, boost the industry's economy, and put the fun back in shopping. Since then the event has grown exponentially, expanding nationally in 2010 to over 100 cities and globally into 15 countries.
