Artini 2010
Throughout the month of March, 12 of the city’s most talented mixologists competed to make the most artistic martini inspired by Corcoran Gallery’s permanent collection. The public was invited to taste the creative cocktails at participating bars, which included; POV at the W Hotel, PS7’s, Mie n Yu, SEI, Bourbon, Art and Soul, Farmers & Fishers, J & G Steakhouse, Rasika, Gibson, Tabard Inn, and Wisdom. Saturday March 27the Corcoran hosted Artini, featuring all 12 of these creative cocktails under one roof. Artini offered a sampling of the creative concoctions, music, dancing, and a tour of the museum’s special exhibitions. All proceeds from Artini went to support ArtReach, which extends the resources of the Corcoran to undeserved communities in Washington D.C. through free high-quality arts education.
