D.C. Tweetup and Social Media Awards at K Street Lounge
This year's Tweetup was also the first ever Social Media Awards, taking place at kstreet Lounge and all part of DCWEEK’s festivities. The Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC), the largest in the nation, hosted the awards program, which honored those organizations that have successfully implemented innovative and unique social media programs. The program included 6 categories: Best use of Facebook, Best use of Twitter, Best use of LinkedIn, Best use of viral video, Best corporate blog and Best social media integrated campaign.
