Fête de la Musique at the Embassy of France
Summer solstice – the official beginning of summer – is just around the corner and for the 9th consecutive year, the Embassy of France used this opportunity to bring together friends, families, local musicians, and street performers for the popular and fun-filled Fête de la Musique celebration. Throughout this high-spirited afternoon and evening, guest saw more than 50 acts, and got a chance to relax at the embassy’s terrace café while savoring barbecued specialties, pastries, cotton candy, beer, wine and other libations. As the sun went down, guests enjoyed a spectacle of fire breathers and danced into the night as a DJ spun popular tunes. It was a memorable celebration that already has us looking forward to next year’s event.
