Mingle at the Museum: Asian 2 American at the Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery Kogod Courtyard
Guests were invited to Mingle at the Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery for an exclusive after-hours viewing of the exhibition Portraiture Now: Asian American Portraits of Encounter. Party goers got to converse with exhibit curators and Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Program staff about these provocative works, as well as have their own portrait drawn by a Corcoran College of Art + Design students on hand. DJs Yellow Fever also transformed the courtyard with a soundscape of international beats. It was the perfect marriage between fine art and a cocktail event!
