Reception Honoring Miss America 2011 Teresa Scanlon To Benefit The Miss DC Scholarship Organization at the Capitol Hill Club
The Capitol Hill Club was the place to be on Tuesday night as it held a fundraiser to benefit the Miss District of Columbia Scholarship Organization which featured Miss America 2011 Teresa Scanlon and a dozen other Miss America 2011 contestants. The Miss DC Scholarship Organization organized the trip to the nation’s capitol for Teresa and the group of contestants to show off the beautiful city that is D.C.
The Miss DC Scholarship Organization is the organizing body of the Miss DC Pageant, the preliminary competition to the national Miss America pageant. The Organization is dedicated to emphasizing education, talent, and the performing arts, and helps the reigning Miss DC support her platform over the course of her year as Miss DC.
