Third Annual Martinis and Makeover Event at Degrees Bar located inside the Ritz-Carlton Georgetown
Martinis and Makeovers was a wonderful evening of relaxation and fun to honor the widows of fallen U.S. Soldiers. The ladies were pampered by Saks Fifth Avenue, Georgetown Cupcakes, music, and some special signature martinis sponsored by Patrons Ultimate Vodka. All proceeds from the Martinis and Makeovers will go to programs and events for the families of fallen soldiers.
The event was organized by Got Your Back Network (GYBN). GYBN was established in January 2009 by Andy Baldwin, a Lieutenant Commander in the Navy. After losing two of his comrades in Afghanistan and seeing the effect that it had on their families back home, Baldwin initiated his plan to form a non-profit corporation to provide services to families of fallen soldiers. GYBN works to help and support the families of our military heroes through a variety of special events, activities, mentoring and guidance services.
