Putt-putt has infiltrated the D.C. nightlife scene! At first look, HSCC is simply a laid back bar with a subtle golf theme. However, when you trek upstairs, you’ll find a veritable tale of two venues: on one end, a relaxed casual dining room; and the other a bright and bustling nine-hole miniature golf course.
HSCC also offers two distinct menus, both with an American Southwest / Mexican flare. The dinner menu (available upstairs) is decidedly more sophisticated with offerings like shrimp in pipian sauce, lamb enchiladas and the like. The “El Notre” bar menu (offered downstairs) features regional light fare such as spicy tamales, lobster tostadas and other typical bar fare.

- A round of putt-putt will set you back $7 per player. Add a couple rounds of drinks ($7 beers, $9-13 cocktails) and a dish or two from the bar menu while you wait to tee off ($6-11 each), and you’re looking at a final tab of around $50 for a decent night. If you’re interested in taking advantage of the dinner menu, entrees will run you about $15-22.
