Just steps from the White House, Point of View also features sweeping views of the Nation’s Capital. At POV the bartenders treat cocktail creation as an exhibition sport and even have implemented a signature ice program – which means ice will be customized for every beverage, whether it calls for a sculpted spear, spheres, pellets, etc. Now that’s an eye for detail! Libation ingredients are all-natural, with a fruit and vegetable juicing station at the inside bar. Their classic cocktail recipes complement the Beaux Arts décor throughout the hotel. POV’s light fare menu was developed by internationally acclaimed chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, who’s J&G Steakhouse will be the signature restaurant within the W Washington. Be prepared to be “wowed” and rub elbows with DC’s power set at this elegant rooftop bar.
