Since it is housed in a brownstone and bears an academic name, you might think that the Science Club is a gathering place for scholars, but its not. Actually, it’s a bar and lounge that attracts patrons from all walks of life. Upstairs there are DJs and fancier decor, downstairs is a tad blander, but you can expect a relaxed atmosphere throughout.
Science Club also offers a pretty extensive menu, evenings when you forgot to grab a bite to eat before downing that beer of yours. The menu includes kashmiri lentil soup with greek yogurt, soup de jour, three cheeses and fruit, tortilla chips and homemade guacamole and grilled marinnated tofu skewers with basil sauce (yum!)
