Established in 1981, Brass Monkey has long been a rowdy staple of the Adams Morgan scene. Although it remains connected to Spaghetti Garden, Peyote Café, On the Rox and Roxanne on weekends the shared space allows room for five separate bars in a single building, including an outdoor rooftop spot that has proved to be a favorite. Each level has a different theme, both visually and musically, with karaoke being extremely popular amongst the inebriated masses. And should you get serious cravings for Italian food, the kitchen is usually serving most of the week.
