Unless you're going to see a show, the bar at Velvet Lounge is free. But we strongly urge you to see the show, as you'll see bands spanning the music genres from alt rock to punk to hip-hop and...well...almost everything. Ticket prices vary depending on the day and show, but it is without a doubt a great place to take in D.C.'s constantly-revamping U Street corridor.

DO NOT GO HERE. PLACE SUCKS........music was okay. the people that work there are just so rude. My friend got charged 75$ for a $6 drink. One...
