Tucked in the U Street corridor near Ben's Chili Bowl and other mainstays, Indulj combines the best of both worlds - U Street's characteristic jazz and soul food downstairs and thumping hip-hop and R&B upstairs.

The lounge and restaurant serves up chicken fingers and pork chops to the tune of a live jazz band every Friday and Saturday night until 11. Also, Injulj recently premiered its new weekly event with DJ Alizay of 93.9 WKYS spinning top 40 from 10:30 on.

Table service of food and liquor can be arranged for big spenders who want to relax on one of the many couches with a private party. For everyone else, there are plenty of fruity cocktails and fried snacks to keep you fueled for a long night.
