If you’ve never partied in a cave, going to Bohemian Caverns would be a carbon copy of what that scene would be like. Fake-rock walls are reminiscent of a grotto. Getting pass the cavern-esque surroundings, the live music is usually the focal point. A long list of great jazz musicians that have been playing here since the 1920s (when it was Crystal Caverns) includes Miles Davis, Ella Fitzgerald and John Coltrane. Local talent and jazz musicians still setup and play here, but now some of the nights are geared towards the young urban professional crowd. Saturday nights are reserved for WPGC’s DJ Quiksilva and popular hip-hop. Above the Caverns (on the first floor) is a restaurant called Mahogany.
