It's Oktoberfest all year round at this authentic German beer house! Biergarten Haus brings a little European touch to the H Street Corridor with it's popular outdoor patio and warm, charming interior. Their extensive beer menu is every brew lover's dream, featuring over 30 hard-to-find German imports like Weihenstephaner and "nectar of the gods" Aventinus. Each beer on tap is available in half-liter, liter and for the truly brave -- a two-liter Das Boot! (That's a giant glass shoe full of delicious ale that you get to take home after/if you finish it.) German food fans are in equal luck, with a menu that boast multiple kinds of homemade wursts, schnitzels and goulash.
Come ready for an authentic experience, from random breakouts of drinking songs to trivia nights every Tuesday to fans yelling at the football (both kinds) on TV. Make a night of it because the frauleins won't let you leave until you've had a good time in the olde country!

- Street. Maryland Ave NE, 13th St NE, and G St NE are all good areas to find parking on both weekdays and weekends. Valet service is also available for $10 on Thursdays from 5 to 11 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays from 5 to 2 a.m.
