With tables tucked into corners and a cobblestone floor, having a drink at Fado is like having a little piece of Ireland right in Washington D.C. Have a Guinness while enjoying bangers and mash, or sit back and watch your favorite footbal team (as in soccer) take on their arch-rival. (And yes, Fado will open in the wee hours to show those games across the pond!) Irish-inspired memorabilia adorns the walls and the inviting atmosphere makes a pint all that much more enjoyable.
