When this U Street restaurant-lounge opened and proclaimed a friendly open policy, people assumed it was the same grand opening grandstanding by the owners. However, the aptly named Policy lives up to it's promise; walk in early enough and you and your friends can grab a chair or couch and enjoy the rest of your night in comfort. That's right. No paying for $400 bottles of champagne just to sit down at some VIP area. It's truly a revelation in the D.C. club scene.

And with great food and specialty cocktails by renowned local chef Brian Murphy and unique decor from street artist Andrew Funk, you can bet this is one Policy that's going to catch on.
