The Reef

With a name like The Reef, you’d think maybe they’d have a terrific underwater dining room to attract those seeking something different. But no, the Adams Morgan establishment has a terrific rooftop bar that brings a sunny, somewhat Spanish-style theme to the al fresco ambiance. The whole deck is covered, which makes for a nice filtered shade on super-hot days and overlooks the hustle and bustle of 18th Street. If you’re drinking, you can grab a seat at the U-shaped tiled bar, but The Reef also has a spacious dining area as well.
