The Blaguard has some big shoes to fill after taking over the popular Common Share space, but they’re up to the task with a renovated interior and a friendly Irish pub atmosphere. Even with two floors it’s not a large bar, but an intimate and fun setting complete with cool servers and a stocked jukebox that plays Radiohead, the Rolling Stones and everything in between. Blaguard also sports a great selection of beers, from the standard Guinness on draft to the more exotic vices (Delirium Tremens, Chimay and Duvel stand out). It’s no surprise they’ve retained loyal customers from the former establishment, as well as made plenty of new ones.
