Collins’ ladylike Snow White had classy roots. The young actress based her character (who also learns to fight her own battles) on “an older elegance that I found from people like Audrey Hepbrn and Elizabeth Taylor,” she said, while “trying to make her as real as possible and not wanting to do a caricature of an animated princess.”
