Haven’t you wanted to try the trapeze ever since you saw Carrie Bradshaw fly in NYC in an episode of Sex and The City? Well now you can in DC!

Since its opening on June 6, thrill-seekers and exercise buffs have flocked over to the corner of 9th and H Streets Northwest to experience high-flying fun at Trapeze School New York - Washington DC (TSNY-DC). Everyone can have a chance at feeling the wind beneath their wings and it’s highly recommended to bring your pals along.

After five years in Baltimore and a plea from Mayor Fenty’s office, TSNY-DC moved its rig to the District. At the end of this season (April-November), TSNY-DC looks forward to moving to their new permanent home in a heated tent near the Nationals Stadium in Southeast DC.

Everyone works at their own pace and there is plenty of time to calm your nerves and climb aboard the 23 ft. high platform. For all of those clowns out there, you can also take juggling and jestering classes and learn from a pro. Classes, comprised of up to ten participants, range in price from $45-$55 and are available in two hour increments throughout the week starting from 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Be sure to schedule ahead, because classes do sell out! For more information visit TSNY-DC's website.
