Despite the rain on Saturday night, partygoers showed up in droves to attend the Fall Fete event at the Corcoran Gallery of Art—and we can see why! Hosted by D.C.'s 1869 Society, the annual gala raised money for arts education for area students and drew crowds of young professionals looking to eat, drink and schmooze while enjoying the Sargent and the Sea exhibit. Decked out with multiple bars, velvet-roped VIP sections and a bumpin' dance floor (it's not everyday you hear Journey and Madonna at the Corcoran), the entire venue was packed with tuxedos, cocktail dresses and hundreds of the district's finest partying for a great cause.
