Pool-goers jump into summer at Skyline hotel party

The rainy start to summer didn't dampen the kick-off Aqua, Metromix and Lindy's pool party on Friday. The DJ-spun tunes and tasty appetizers kept everyone entertained at the retro-chic Capitol Skyline Hotel. Even though bikini-clad babes weren't exactly out in force, a few brave souls did take to the water in their trunks (or boxers, for lack thereof). The happy hour pool party will be taking place every Friday from 5 to 10, so there will be plenty of other chances to catch up on poolside summer fun. Look out for the "blue" drink specials on Storm Energy drinks and Coors Lite, as well as giveaways like Nationals tickets brought to you by the Metromix Street Team.
