The winning game plan: Train a lot and train seriously. Practices began in mid-September and just got more intense as the weeks went by. The first-time coaches came into a successful system and were fortunate enough to continue that success. Well said, Lombardi(s).

Coach's MVP: The five or six dedicated ladies that, despite their hard work, did not make it into the game. That's as adorable as it is heart-braking.
