Several hundred guests were decked out in style Wednesday night for Washington Life Magazine's :The Young & The Guest List Party. Every year Washington Life rolls out it's popular issue announcing the 250 most influential people under 40. The list includes D.C. movers and shakers who all have particular achievements, influence and leadership qualities, setting them apart from the norm. A glance of this year's listees includes: Luke Russert, Dominique Dawes, Miss District of Columbia Kate Marie Grinold, 107.3 FM Tommy McFly and Becky Lee of Becky's Fund.This year's list also includes several Capitol Hill members and staffers, CEO's and media personalities.
This year's highly anticipated party was held at the brand new Capitol Square building at 1200 First Ave. and the gleeming new space set for an amazing backdrop. After an elegant greeting of champagne in the lobby, everyone was ushered to the tenth floor. The entire level was encased with floor to ceiling windows, with a great view of the D.C. skyline. Live music, a DJ, live models, hors d'oeuvres and plenty of Georgetown Cupcakes kept the festivities going.
