The BET Honors at Warner Theater

The BET Honors were filmed at the Warner Theater on Saturday, Jan. 17 and celebrated the achievements of songstress Mary J. Blige (winner of the Honors award for Entertainment), filmmaker Tyler Perry (Media), philanthropist and basketball legend Earvin "Magic" Johnson (Corporate Citizen), and others. The second annual show, premiering on BET on Monday, Feb. 9 at 9 p.m., was hosted by actress Gabrielle Union and featured performances by Ne-Yo, Joss Stone, Queen Latifah, Anthony Hamilton, Monica, and the Alvin Ailey Dance Theater.

Celebrities make an impact at Fur

Hollywood was out in full force the weekend before inauguration, and many of them stopped by Fur Nightclub for Artists Making An Impact Party. Celebrities like Jessica Alba, Ron Howard and Sarah Silverman came out to party.

Latino Inaugural Gala 2009

The stars came out to celebrate Barack Obama. Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony, Shakira and Paulina Rubio were among the celebs that took part in this glam event.

Creative Coalition Inauguration Party

In case you need further evidence that Barack Obama is a rockstar, we give you the Creative Coalition Inaugural Dinner at Teatro Goldoni. The star-studded guest list included Star Jones, Susan Sarandon, Tim Robbins and other big names. Metromix was on hand to mark the historic event as Hollywood invaded K Street.

Hip Hop Inaugural Ball

The first ever Hip-Hop Inaugural Ball, a black tie charity gala benefiting the Hip-Hop Summit Action Network, was held at the Harman Center for the Arts. The Ball featured a star-studded red carpet that included Don King, Russell Simmons, Mario, Busta Rhymes and Nick Cannon (sans Mariah Carey).
