33rd Annual Adams Morgan Day Festival
Adams Morgan Day Festival celebrated its 33rd anniversary in style with a sidewalk art sale, live music, food from the neighborhood, street vendors of every type, and dancers and performers on multiple stages. More than 25 countries and cultures were represented at this neighborhood festival, the longest running in D.C. The highlight of the day had to be the heart pounding performance by Batala, the local all-women percussion group that plays Afro-Brazilian / Samba-Reggae rhythms.
