DC Flash Mob - World Dance Day
Dozens of dancing divas invaded downtown D.C. to have eight separate flash dance performances of Beyonce's "Single Ladies" dance. Metromix's own Dorothy Tene' Redmond was at the helm of the operation held in celebration of World Dance Day
Participants gathered at Jordin's Paradise (who sponsored dance lessons for the flash dancers in the weeks leading up to the event) to get a few pointers as well as rules and instructions before they hit the streets to dance the night away!
Over 100 dancers gathered throughout the day to join the "impromptu" performances thanks in large part to WKYS radio station hyping up the event over the airwaves. The evening ended with a final performance at Bar 7 and was fittingly capped off with a joyous "I didn't get arrested" toast!
