The 5th Annual Capital Queer Prom aboard the Spirit of Mount Vernon
The 5th Annual Capital Queer Prom may have been the biggest and best prom yet! Men and women of all genders and sexualities danced the night away and enjoyed an evening on the Potomac on the Spirit cruise ship with cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, prom photos, a silent auction, music, and the illustrious crowning of the 2011 Prom King and Queen. All proceeds from the prom benefited The Youth Pride Alliance, a non-profit organization dedicated to creating safe events and support for LGBTQ youth.
