Dupont Circle Snowball Fight 2011
It was no Snowmageddon, but D.C. still saw over half-foot of powder fall on Wednesday, January 26th and after a year-long hibernation, Dupont Circle geared up for another official snowball fight. Organized by the Washington DC Snowball Fight Association, the event kicked off at 8 p.m. in the circle and friends and strangers alike pummeled each other in to submission with snowy justice! (No police activity reported this time.)
A number of local businesses, such as Sweetgreen, Bar Dupont, and Kramerbooks and Afterwords Cafe, all stayed open late and offered snowball fighters special deals to reward them for their wintertime bravery and valor.
