Give to the Max Day Rally Party at The Park at Fourteenth
As the official after party of the DCWeek Keynotes, the rally at The Park closed out the week with excitement, as well as celebrated the final hours of Give To the Max Day. "Give to the Max Day" was a 24 hour event on Wednesday November 9th that aimed to raise at least a million dollars for area non-profits that strive to better the local community.
Guests held a final rally cry for donations towards causes that will impact and benefit local neighborhoods, schools and people, with man attendees logging onto computers at The Park to make their online donations. A book signing by Frank Warren, author of Postsecret, was held at the event to raise money for a local non-profit that is close to his heart: IMAlive. Other community partners involved with the rally included The Razoo Foundation, The Community Foundation, United Way, and The Case Foundation.
