Howard's Hands for Haiti
Howard University students hosted a "Hands For Haiti" benefit concert Thursday January 21 with headliner Wale. All proceeds from the sold out show will go to the University's Haiti Relief Fund. Howard's Cramton Auditorium was packed with Haiti supporters and music lovers who enjoyed a show full of emotional speeches and performances. The line-up included Howard's own Gospel Choir, DIVAS Inc, Cimaronnes Dancers, spoken word artist and three-time Apollo award winner Messiah, rapper XO, rapper Phil Ade and of course DC's own Wale! The event was co-hosted by DJ Angie Angs and Antonio of KYS 93.9.
