Lebowski Fest 2009: Movie Night
Over a decade after the film "The Big Lebowski" was released, The Dude still abides. After traveling to major cities like LA, New York, and Chicago, the Lebowski Fest crew came to DC to celebrate the film with a two-day extravaganza. Their first stop in DC? The famous 9:30 Club. Even though the first night was a concert by the band Black Diamond Heavies, followed by a screening of the movie, guests still dressed up to show their enthusiasm for the film. There were dancing Pin Heads (giant bowling balls), women in Viking hats, and fans so hardcore they were able to recite favorite lines of the film as they watched the movie.
