Foursquare Party
Metromix teamed up with Town Tavern on Saturday night for their first ever Foursquare Party -- and not the kind you played on the schoolyard as a kid. Foursquare is a social networking app for your phone that allows you to "check in" at venues around the world, and in this case gave users a chance at becoming bar royalty. This "Earn Your Badge" night provided Foursquare members with free beer and a shot at the elusive Swarm Badge. But you didn't have to have an Android, Palm or iPhone to enjoy a night of Metromix-ing and mingling -- just a group of friends and a drink in hand was enough to join in the fun!
