CBCC's Prelude to a Royal Wedding at Peacock Cafe
Capital Breast Care Center’s (CBCC) and Young Professionals Advisory Council hosted “A Prelude to a Royal Wedding,” a prenuptial celebration of the fashion and trends of the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.
Hats were on parade at Peacock Cafe as D.C. fashionistas and tastemakers came dressed in their best royal attire to socialize and sip British-infused drinks, bites, and cakes fit for future queens. Patrons also were greeted by royal guards and treated to complimentary photos with the royal couple by Walter Grio of Shoot for Change.
All proceeds raised during the evening benefit will be donated to the CBCC, the only community-based center in D.C. that provides breast cancer screening services to underinsured or uninsured women.
