Second Annual Madison Oktoberfest
Guests grabbed their dirndl and joined the Madison to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Oktoberfest. The second annual Madison Oktoberfest was held at the Rookery in Foggy Bottom and admission included three hours of beer (bier) and paired appetizers. Featured beers at the event included Beck’s Oktoberfest, Fordham Scotch Ale, Kona Pipeline Porter, and Starr Hill Love. The proceeds from the event benefit StreetWise Partners of DC, which builds mentoring relationships between low-income individuals (mentees) and volunteer mentors to develop workplace skills and employment networks as the bridge to a successful career.
