Smithsonian Young Benefactors' Jolly Holiday Party
The Smithsonian Young Benefactor's Jolly Holiday was held at the Smithsonian Castle. Guests dined on festive hors d'œuvres and a dessert buffet and sipped drinks from the open bar. Santa even dropped by! In this season of giving, the guests at the event were asked to bring one nonperishable food item to be donated to a local charity. The event was a benefit for The Smithsonian Associates—the cultural, educational, and membership division of the Smithsonian Institution--and Culture4Kids, which provides DC schoolchildren with access to the diverse educational and culturally enriching experiences offered by the Smithsonian.
