Taste Of Georgetown 2011
Thousands of people packed Wisconsin Avenue in Georgetown to sample food from 28 different restaurants and 22 different types of wine, ale and spirits at the 18th annual Taste of Georgetown. Popular restaurants such as Chadwicks, Clyde's of Georgetown and Georgetown Cupcake were joined by Taste of Georgetown newcomers such as Sequoia, Serendipity 3 and Sprinkles Cupcakes to ensure that no one was left hungry! This year, some of the top chefs in the Georgetown area competed to see who could create the best cuisine featuring pumpkin as part of the 1st annual Georgetown "Pumpkin Food Fight" restaurant competition. The event also sought to raise awareness and additional funding for the Georgetown Ministry Center, which aims to help the local homeless community.
