ziMS Foundation: A Night At The Park In Nationals Park
Ryan Zimmerman, star third baseman for the Washinton Nationals took a night off from fielding grounders and hitting home runs to host his charitable foundation’s first annual “A Night at the Park” at Nationals Stadium. The ziMS Foundation was established by Zimmerman to help find the cure for Multiple Sclerosis. The MS disease is close to Zimmerman’s hart as his mother Cheryl is currently battling the unpredictable disease.
But last night was a time to celebrate the first ziMS Foundation event held in DC. A silent and live auction of sports memorabilia and packages were held to help raise money. Street Magician David Blaine was also on hand to perform some mesmerizing card tricks. And last but not least, folk and jazz singers MUTLU and Amos Lee put on performances no one will soon forget.
