Get ready to scream on the small screen.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, MTV is developing the '90s classic horror franchise Scream as a series.
The network has two of its execs on board to produce and are searching for writers. There's no word on what role, if any, Scream creators Wes Craven and Kevin Williamson will have with the series.
The original 1996 Scream film starred Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, David Arquette and Skeet Ulrich, and went on to spawn three sequels in 1997, 2000 and 2011.
