Grumpy guy: Grandpa Edwin Hoover
Grampas can grump-out over a lot of things. Maybe the soup’s too hot, the coffee’s too cold, or the room is too room-temperature. But for Edwin Hoover, he really misses smack and strippers. That’s enough to make anyone super-grumpified (just kidding, smack is wack) but the Oscar-winning Arkin takes advanced-age angst-ism to another level.

Everyone loves the foul-mouthed grumpy grandpa. Alan Arkin nailed this role. The dinner scene in the beginning was classic.
