Lana Del Ray caused a stir when she appeared as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live two weeks ago, taking a beating from critics and on Twitter for her singing.
She returned (in the form of Kristen Wiig) during Weekend Update to address her performance. "Based on the public's response I must have clubbed a baby seal while singing the Taliban national anthem."
She added, "People thought I was stiff, distant and weird."
"Why is that?" asked Seth Meyers. "Because I'm stiff, distant and weird."
