Pia Toscano's becoming something of a good luck charm for the Los Angeles Kings. Since the Season 10 American Idol singer first sang the national anthem for the National Hockey League team, the Kings have gone 10-2-1 at home (including a 3-1 playoff record). Now, they're just four wins away from the Stanley Cup Final.

"I can't believe how they've welcomed me," the New York-born singer tells NHL.com. "It's the most fun that I've had. I will be the Kings' national anthem singer as long as they want me."

Pia says she feels like she and the Kings -- the No. 8 seed in the Western Conference playoffs -- are "the perfect fit" since they're underdogs and feels like an underdog, too. But she's surprised that people are discovering her through her national-anthem performances.

"Hockey and American Idol don't mix," she says. Clearly, Pia's not thinking about Colton Dixon, who used to paint faces and sing the anthem at Nashville Predators games. Or Clay Aiken, who sang the anthem at the 2011 NHL all-star game. Or Carrie Underwood, who's, you know, married to an NHL hockey player.
