Former *NSYNC member Lance Bass came out on the cover of People magazine in 2006, ending years of speculation fueled by gossip bloggers like Perez Hilton and paparazzi photos of Bass partying with the boys in Provincetown, Mass. Bass took some flak from the gay community for identifying himself as a “SAG” or “straight-acting gay”: “We're just normal, typical guys,” he told People of his fellow SAGs. “I love to watch football and drink beer.” His performances on "Dancing with the Stars," however, have been perhaps not quite so SAGgy.
