Journopalooza at the National Press Building
Reporters became rock stars to raise money for charitable media organizations at Journopalooza III at the National Press Club. The National Press Club’s ballroom walls trembled as bands consisting of reporters hit the stage and rocked the house. Bands that took the stage included Charm Offensive, Dirty Bomb, Nobody’s Business, Suspicious Package, The Stepping Stones, Rebecca Christie & Peter Fields, and NRBK. Proceeds from this event went to The Committee to Protect Journalists/Journalist Assistance Program, The Eric Friedheim National Journalism Library, and Reporters Without Borders.
