Opposites attract: Some Nine Inch Nails zealots insist that Mariqueen Maandig—former member of rock band West Indian Girl—is, in fact, the fugly one in this relationship, going so far as to compare her to the offspring of Bai Ling and an alien. Sure, Maandig’s bangs are a little severe and she needs to ease up on filling in her eyebrows, but we’d hardly call her a dog—especially in front of goth-turned-musclehead Trent Reznor. That guy has no neck and we really don’t want him opening a can of whoop-ass on us.
Will it last? Considering the couple tied the knot a mere month ago, we’ll have to wait and see. However, if you asked any of NIN’s gothtastic female fans (and maybe a couple delicate dudes, as well), they’d probably scream, “Nooooooooooo!” and then cry, run into their bedrooms, slam the door and blast “Pretty Hate Machine” on their iHome.
