Sondre Lerche at 9:30 Club
The Norwegian sensation Sondre Lerche played his catchy tunes for a packed audience at the 9:30 Club Tuesday night. Known best for creating the soundtrack to the Steve Carell movie "Dan In Real Life," his interesting arrangements and catchy songwriting has led critics to call the Brooklyn-based artist one of this generation’s smartest singer/songwriters. With seven full length albums under his belt, and with his newest self titled album being released earlier that day, Lerche had plenty of songs to choose from to perform for the eager crowd. In the end, Lerche played a dozen plus songs; and then came back to serenade the crowd with a few more for his encore. Norwegian-Brooklyn based- indie pop singer/songwriter-fans definitely did not leave 9:30 Club disappointed!
