Taylor Swift Speak Now World Tour 2011 at Verizon Center
The scene was electric and the fans were all decked out in Swift gear. Other than Lady Gaga's Little Monsters, it’s Taylor Swift fans that come a close No. 2 in terms of fanaticism and support for their favorite performer. And if the glittered T-shirts and homemade posters by Taylor Swift's fans weren't enough proof, then it was the sheer number of them at the first of two sold out shows at Verizon Center Tuesday night. Swift treated her supporters to a Broadway-like performance on a giant curtained stage. Once the curtain opened, the stage had an elaborate golden stairway, a plethora of excellent dancers, and a rocking band to compliment Swift's solid vocals and folksy stage persona. Staying true to her word (or at least to her twitter updates just prior to the show which were shown on the big screen at the arena), no one can rock a party like T Swift can!
