W Happenings Presents Alicia Witt at P.O.V. at W Washington, D.C.
Best known for her acting roles in "Friday Night Lights," "88 Minutes," "Law and Order," "The Sopranos" and "Mr. Hoalland's Opus," Alicia Witt showed that she's more than just another Hollywood actress. The singer/songwriter and classically trained pianist brought her mellow melodies to the luxurious P.O.V. rooftop lounge at the W Washington, D.C. For the last three years, Witt has been performing her original songs at venues across the country and her self-titled first EP is now out on iTunes featuring the single 'Anyway', which has been played on MTVu and VH1.com. She also appeared as musical guest on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson in summer 2010, and is currently working on her next album.
